Homemade Mint Chip Ice cream! 

Wait. wait. Don’t keep scrolling. wait! :D

Yes, you can make you’re own ice cream at home! Don’t feel intimated! (you can use a ice cream maker or go to the link below that shows you how to make ice cream without a machine)

Geez… I almost lost you there eh? ::phew!:: thanks in advance for giving the recipe a try!

Recipe:

  • 1 cup (250 ml) whole milk
  • 3/4 cup (150 g) sugar
  • 2 cups (500 ml) heavy cream
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 cups packed (80 gr) fresh mint leaves
  • 5 large egg yolks
  • For the chocolate chips:
  • 5 ounces (140 gr) bittersweet or semisweet chocolate, chopped

I&#8217;m not sure if you guys have picked up on it, but I&#8217;m a little obsessed with things like this. Anything cute that you can put over a little tea/LED light. I&#8217;m in love.
I love the feel that it gives off. The dim, warm light. And the thought of making like..50 of these? UGH. It&#8217;d be beautiful. A glowy little forest of papier-mache cones. Amazing.
These are titled as Christmas trees, but I&#8217;d keep em around all year.
